Team #6323

We are the Dr. Frank J. Hayden Secondary School FIRST® Robotics Team 6323. We are proud to announce that this will be our second year to participation in the FIRST® Robotics program, founded in 2016!

 

FIRST® Robotics is an international secondary school competition where teams from different schools all around the world spend six intense weeks designing, manufacturing, programming, and testing a robot to perform the difficult tasks set out by FIRST® each year.  FIRST® combines the competition of sport with the discipline of the manufacturing trade, science, and computer technology.  It aims to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting Mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.

 

For these very reasons, Dr. Frank J. Hayden had decided to start its FIRST® Robotics program, Team 6323, in 2016, successfully coming up as Finalist in Durham College then advancing to the Provincial Championships. With this success, we hope to achieve even more this year to inspire our next generation of students to pursue a career in STEM and become involved in team life.
